Inhouse Mailshop combines experience, technology and dedication to ensure you receive the best postage discounts and to ensure your projects are handled properly and promptly throughout the mailing process.
Addressing
Addresses may be applied to your product by a variety of methods. Your Inhouse Mailshop will assist you in determining the best method for each of your products:
* Best Quality – Print Mail Wide Array provides highest resolution with upper and lower case fonts.
* Videojet 4000- provides high resolution in all upper case and works well on glossy or coated paper.
* Labels – four-up labels are excellent for use on dark backgrounds where inkjet printing would not meet postal service standards.
Tabbing
To receive maximum postage discounts your self-mailer must have “tabs” sealing the open edges. These tabs prevent the open edge from jamming in high-speed equipment used by the U.S. Postal Service in processing your mail.
See a tab position diagram
Eagle Mailing can apply one or two tabs while addressing your selfmailer. (Note that some self-mailers with loose inserts may require more than two tabs to meet postal requirements.) Our mailing specialists will work with you to determine the best type of tabs for your mailing.
Machine Inserting
Whether you have a one-page letter or up to six pieces to insert into your envelope, Inhouse Mailshop can process your mailing.
Our automatic inserter can handle envelopes from 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ up to 6 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. For larger envelopes, more pieces, or pieces of varying size please see our Hand Assembly section.
Hand Assembly
For those projects that cannot be done by machine, Inhouse Mailshop has a fast, accurate method of hand inserting. This provides for inserting many pieces or pieces of varying sizes into one envelope with each piece receiving special handling if necessary.
Your Inhouse Mailshop consultant will help you decide if this method is right for you.
Postage Stamps
Do you want a more personal look to your mail pieces? Inhouse Mailshop can apply first-class, non-profit, or standard (bulk) stamps during the addressing process.
